Kamilah is an award-winning visual storyteller who is passionate about creating content that captures the hearts of people from all walks of life and encourages viewers to become inspired. Through diverse platforms over the last 15 years, Kamilah has contributed to and developed popular television shows on major networks, produced legacy videos for families, developed content for businesses, and crafted several local history preservation films as a DC Oral History Collaborative grant recipient, a HumanitiesDC DOCS grant recipient, and DC Commision on the Arts and Humanities Fellow. 

As a Television Producer with over ten years’ experience in unscripted television shows, Kamilah has shaped numerous shows from initial concept, through production, to final locked cuts ready-to-air.  She has worked in various producer capacities for NBC, HGTV, BET, MTV, VH-1, Bravo, Lifetime, and Oxygen. 

In September 2020, Kamilah was recognized by the District of Columbia Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment (OCTFME) as the Filmmaker of the Month.
